The IX CAP aims at sharing trends, advances, and innovations produced by researchers that develop their studies in the broad field of parasitology. It is an opportunity to improve the interactions among scientists, professors, fellows, and students and build and support exchange and cooperation networks that enhance the development of parasitology in Argentina.

Parasites form intricate networks in ecosystems since different stages of a species, different species, and various hosts crisscross and influence each other. Similarly, parasitologists form networks with colleagues, using different approaches to study the uncountable aspects of parasites and their interactions with hosts and the environment. Besides, social media networks are omnipresent tools in the current times.
