    Fundación Mundo Sano has a line of work focused on helminths, with a special focus on soil-transmitted helminth infections and hydatidosis. This line of work is led by CONICET's associate researcher, Victoria Periago. Within the team, the Foundation has three doctoral students, one post-doctoral student, two doctors and field agents. The projects focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment, developing actions, programs and projects aligned with translational research, dissemination of knowledge and public-private cooperation. From the Foundation, we promote a comprehensive approach to these diseases through Comprehensive Community Intervention Programs both in Argentina and in Spain, Ethiopia and Mozambique. In Argentina, we work in collaboration with the National Administration of Laboratories and Health Institutes “Dr. Carlos G. Malbrán ”(ANLIS), the Provincial Zoonosis Laboratory of the Ministry of Health of San Juan and the Institute for Advanced Space Studies“ Mario Gulich ”(CONAE / UNC); in Spain and Ethiopia with the National Center for Tropical Medicine of the Carlos III Health Institute (Madrid) and the Bahir Dar University (Amhara Region, Ethiopia), and in Mozambique with the Manhiça Health Research Center and the Health Institute Global (ISGlobal) of Barcelona. In addition, the Foundation has agreements with The Task Force for Global Health based in Atlanta (USA), PAHO and WHO.
